About

RavenSkye isn’t a random brand name. It’s named for a daughter, and this website was set up for her years ago—back when she was in grade school, or even earlier—with the long goal of helping put her through college.

That purpose hasn’t changed. The whole site exists for her. What has changed is the focus of the content: we’re building RavenSkye into a practical guide for laptop docking and multi-monitor workstation gear—Thunderbolt, USB4, and USB-C docks, hubs, monitor arms, cables, and the desk peripherals that make a one-cable setup actually work—so recommendations stay useful and commissions from qualifying Amazon purchases support that college goal.

We write for people choosing a dock for dual 4K (and similar) desks: Windows Thunderbolt/USB4 machines and Intel Macs first, with clear notes when Apple Silicon display limits or DisplayLink matter. Practical picks, honest caveats, no junk-for-clicks.

How we research

Until a page includes labeled hands-on lab notes, our roundups use manufacturer specs, cross-checked reviews, and use-case winners (best overall, best Dell-native, best Windows USB4 value, and so on). When a page is research-only, we say so near the top.

Affiliate relationship

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. That commission is how this project supports RavenSkye’s education. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

Thanks for reading—and for shopping through the links when a pick fits your desk.
